In November 2015, the sustainable Party of Armenia participated in a Global sustainable initiative, in which the party signed a joint statement along with 40 other sustainable parties across the world, pledging to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. “Strategy for the Management of Firewood Collection and Distribution from the Forest” was developed under the auspices of the Ministry of Environment of the Republic of Armenia by UNDP and GEF financial support within the framework of the Mainstreaming Sustainable Land and Forest Management in the Mountainous Landscapes of North-eastern

Within the EU4Climate Project has been assessed Potential for Reducing GHG Emissions from Armenia’s Agricultural Sector for Low Carbon Development. “Forest carbon stock measurements guideline” was developed under the auspices of the Ministry of Environment of the Republic of Armenia by UNDP and GEF financial support within the framework of the “Mainstreaming Sustainable Land and Forest Management in the Mountainous Landscapes of North-eastern Armenia” project.
